New York, NY – Triumph Kombat announced today the return of full rules Muay Thai Kickboxing to The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City with Triumph Kombat 4 on Friday, March 16. This event will mark the fourth time The Garden will host thrilling Muay Thai promoted by Triumph Kombat.

Triumph Kombat 4 will feature twenty-plus exciting professional and amateur Muay Thai kickboxing bouts and will be highlighted with seven-time lightweight world champion Ahmad Ibrahim (USMTA, WKA, IKF, USKA, TBA) returns to MSG after a big win at Triumph Kombat 2 to face former Bellator MMA fighter Timothy Wheeler. With an aggressive technical Thai style and strong experience, Ibraham looks to make his mark in the professional rankings

The event is sure to produce an exhilarating evening as John Piña (20-3) (aka Johnny Love), makes his US Professional debut under the training of world renowned Sitjaopho camp in Hua Hin, Thailand. Additionally, Dillan Joucoo (11-7), ranking among top amateurs in NYC currently will be joining the March event to take on New Jersey native Jozel Pino (18-4) for the 140lb Triumph Kombat Full Rules title. NYC fan favorite Greg Rowe (12-5) joins the evening as a seasoned professional and WKA World Champion. Rowe has been in the NYC and international circuit since 2009.

All bouts will be three rounds of fast-paced kickboxing using full Muay Thai rules and sanctioned by the USMTA.

Triumph Kombat, New York’s premiere MMA and Kickboxing promotion, was formed in 2015 by former Take On Productions CEO Mike Gasparski and Victory Combat Sports President Eddie Cuello, and features the best in Muay Thai Kickboxing talent. Four Triumph KOmbat Champions will be crowned on June 9th, 2017. The highly anticipated and explosive fight card will include the TKO World Lightweight Title - featuring the biggest Muay Thai fight ever held in NYC. The #1 North American Fighter Ongjen Topic will face Thailand Champion Tum Sityodtong.

Fans in attendance on June 9th will also witness the Lightweight Unification Title Fight in the Co-Main Event. Dillan Joucoo (9w-4L) of Five Points Academy, the current NYC WKA Champ, and a very technical southpaw with excellent who is an NYC crowd favorite will take on Mark Marrero (10w-4L) Renzo Gracie Muay Thai, NYC, arguably the stronger and more aggressive contender who is hungry to become the 140 lb. champ!

The Triumph Kombat/USMTA 155lbs Title will also be on line as Joe Colon (7w-1L-1D) faces Dante Goldsmith (7w-2L). In what's expected to be a clash of cultures and continents, the Theater at Madison Square Garden will play host to a Main Event bout between two of the most exciting Muay Thai Fighters in the world.

Tum Sityootong travels to the U.S., bringing his eastern style and deadly striking to take on America's Ognjen Topic. Rising star Topic will face the toughest fight of his career, representing American Muay Thai as he tries to prove he belongs among the international champions.
