New York, NY – Triumph Kombat announced today the return of full rules Muay Thai Kickboxing to The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City with Triumph Kombat 4 on Friday, March 16. This event will mark the fourth time The Garden will host thrilling Muay Thai promoted by Triumph Kombat.
Tickets start at just $35 and will be available beginning Thursday, February 8 at www.msg.com, all Ticketmaster locations, The Garden box office and at Muay Thai and MMA gyms throughout NY, NJ, and PA. Triumph Kombat 4 will feature twenty-plus exciting professional and amateur Muay Thai kickboxing bouts and will be highlighted with seven-time lightweight world champion Ahmad Ibrahim (USMTA, WKA, IKF, USKA, TBA) returns to MSG after a big win at Triumph Kombat 2 to face former Bellator MMA fighter Timothy Wheeler. With an aggressive technical Thai style and strong experience, Ibraham looks to make his mark in the professional rankings
The event is sure to produce an exhilarating evening as John Piña (20-3) (aka Johnny Love), makes his US Professional debut under the training of world renowned Sitjaopho camp in Hua Hin, Thailand. Additionally, Dillan Joucoo (11-7), ranking among top amateurs in NYC currently will be joining the March event to take on New Jersey native Jozel Pino (18-4) for the 140lb Triumph Kombat Full Rules title. NYC fan favorite Greg Rowe (12-5) joins the evening as a seasoned professional and WKA World Champion. Rowe has been in the NYC and international circuit since 2009.
All bouts will be three rounds of fast-paced kickboxing using full Muay Thai rules and sanctioned by the USMTA.
